Membership Covenant

Having, as we believe, been brought by divine grace to repentance and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ to surrender our lives to Him, and having been baptized, upon our profession of faith, in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, trusting in the help of His grace, we now solemnly and joyfully gather to renew our covenant with one another.

We will work and pray for the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.

We will walk together in brotherly love, caring for one another and admonishing one another with supplications as the occasion requires.

We will not abandon our congregational meetings nor neglect prayer for ourselves, the members of this local church.

We will spare no effort in discipling, through the discipline and instruction of the Lord, all those under our care, and we will seek, in holiness and love, the salvation of our family and friends.

We will rejoice in the happiness of others and strive to bear one another's burdens and sorrows with tenderness and compassion.

With divine help, we will strive to live carefully in the world, renouncing self-sufficiency, impiety, and worldly passions, remembering that just as we were voluntarily buried and symbolically resurrected through baptism, we now have the obligation to lead a new and holy life, joyfully fulfilling the race and ministry we received from the Lord Jesus, through witnessing to the gospel of God's grace.

We will work together to maintain a permanent ministry of evangelism and discipleship in this church, and we will faithfully observe, with biblical principles, the worship, ordinances, discipline, and doctrines practiced among us. We will contribute regularly and joyfully to the support of the ministry, to the expenses of the church, to the relief of the poor and needy, and above all, to the spread of the gospel both here and in other cities and nations.

May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God the Father, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you.

with all of us.

Amen.
